Is there a style with which I can disable a blur shadow that was already enabled? Disabling the draw and changing the fill can easily be down with appending the options:

draw=none, fill=yellow

but didn't see an wasy way to disable an exsiting blur shadow.

Note:

Code:

\documentclass{article}
\usepackage{tikz}
\usetikzlibrary{shadows.blur}

\newcommand*{\MyPicture}[1][]{%
    %% #1 = draw options.
    \begin{tikzpicture}
        \node [draw=red, thick,fill=magenta!25,  blur shadow, #1] {Text};
    \end{tikzpicture}%
}%

\begin{document}

\MyPicture
\quad
\MyPicture[draw=none, fill=yellow, blur shadow={}]% <-- How to disable shadow here

\end{document}

You can change shadow opacity parameter:

\documentclass{article}
\usepackage{tikz}
\usetikzlibrary{shadows.blur}

\newcommand*{\MyPicture}[1][]{%
    %% #1 = draw options.
    \begin{tikzpicture}
        \node [draw=red, thick,fill=magenta!25,  blur shadow, #1] {Text};
    \end{tikzpicture}%
}%

\begin{document}

\MyPicture
\quad
\MyPicture[draw=none, fill=yellow, blur shadow={shadow opacity=0}]% <-- How to disable shadow here

\end{document}

I've got another question.In the statement area,i write \usetikzlibrary{shadows.blur} and the "shadows.blur" is in red background,like there is an error,and when i get my mouse over it,i get a message,i am translating from greek,"unrecognisable key in keys selection"... I have declared \usepackage{tikz}

  • This space is reserved for answers. Please ask a new question and if this question is relevant you can link to it. Also, it would be helpful if you composed a fully compilable MWE including \documentclass and the appropriate packages that reproduces the problem you are describing. – Peter Grill May 8 at 8:53
