I have been using a template I found to make my resume, you can see my finished version here. The problem that I am having is that when I print my resume out, the images preceding my phone number, email, etc. grow and shift to the right, as seen below.enter image description here

The most I have been able to figure out to play with is making the images \tiny in the cls, but that didn't fix anything.

Honestly, since the PDF is compiling correctly, I don't even know if this is a problem with LaTeX, but I'm not sure where else to turn.

  • You are printing the pdf and when you do that the pdf is recalling, causing the images to shift or are you doing something else? – nikjohn Apr 10 '17 at 2:15
  • I'm just printing the PDF, straight from the link I shared in the post. – Jon Apr 10 '17 at 2:35
  • I do not think your problem is LaTex related. That being said the only possible solution that I have to suggest is convert it to eps or a word document. See if there are any differences and then print to test. Also, try recompiling and printing from a locally generated pdf. I hope it helps, I am also curious to see if any of this works – nikjohn Apr 10 '17 at 2:56
  • Your pdf uses a type1-font version of fontawesome -- the class doesn't correctly ensure that the opentype version is used. Try \newfontfamily\FA{fontawesome.otf}. – Ulrike Fischer Apr 10 '17 at 7:27
  • @UlrikeFischer Thank you so much, that fixed the issue! – Jon Apr 12 '17 at 17:33
