Title suggests the problem. I am preparing a slide of my project to present but after compiling I found that all the 0's are missing ghostly. Any solution will be highly appreciated.

    amssym.def is a file for plain TeX or AMS-TeX, nothing a LaTeX user should consider. – egreg May 16 '18 at 16:20

Remove \input{amssym.def} to get your 0 back.

Some other comments:

  • you don't need \usepackage{color} with beamer

  • \end{frame} is missing

  • it should be \end{document} not \end{Document}

  • use \author etc before \begin{document} to include it in the pdf meta data

  • Thank you for your answer and other suggestions. But for my curiosity, I want to know why this happened ? Actually the same code gave 0 in my friend's project (although his topic is different, but the beginning of the code is totally same ) but it doesn't produce 0 in mine ... – hiren_garai May 16 '18 at 16:15

    @HirenGarai The problematic part from amssym.def is \def\hexnumber@#1{\ifcase#1 0\or 1\or 2\or 3\or 4\or 5\or 6\or 7\or 8\or 9\or A\or B\or C\or D\or E\or F\fi}. It is hard to say why it worked for your friend, maybe some differences in the code? Another engine? Another version? – user36296 May 16 '18 at 16:23
