I'm using biblatex with the ext-authoryear style. What I want to achieve is that there's no colon after the ISBN Entry.

So it should look like:

Cockburn, Alistair (2005): Writing Effective Use Cases, 14th Printing, Indianapolis: Addison Wesley, isbn 0201702258

instead of

Cockburn, Alistair (2005): Writing Effective Use Cases, 14th Printing, Indianapolis: Addison Wesley, isbn: 0201702258

Does anyone know how to achieve this?

    Welcome to TeX.SX! Please help us help you and add a minimal working example (MWE) that illustrates your problem. Reproducing the problem and finding out what the issue is will be much easier when we see compilable code, starting with \documentclass{...} and ending with \end{document}. – BambOo Sep 2 '18 at 20:32
  • Try adding \renewbibmacro{isbn:}{} to your preamble after \usepackage[...]{biblatex} – BambOo Sep 2 '18 at 20:33

    Thanks @BambOo, I thought this was clear whithout an MWE. Next time I'll make one. Anyways, found a solution when adding \DeclareFieldFormat{isbn}{\mkbibacro{ISBN}\space #1} to the preample. This worked for me – Robert Sep 2 '18 at 20:48

  • @moewe like this? – Robert Sep 3 '18 at 8:48

To get rid of the colon after isbn just put following line to the preamble after \usepackage[...]{biblatex}:

\DeclareFieldFormat{isbn}{\mkbibacro{ISBN}\space #1}
  • It might make sense to roll back the edit in your question so the solution is not duplicated there as well. – moewe Sep 3 '18 at 9:00
  • @moewe sorry >.< but finally... – Robert Sep 3 '18 at 9:07
