# Header stays the same “table of appendices” [on hold]

The header in my document stays the same on every page. It shows "List of Appendices". Normally it should show the section's name. It worked a few days ago and I dont know why it doesnt work any more in the correct way.

Deleting the Table of Appendices produces that every header shows "List of Tables"...

Here the minimal code:

\usepackage[printonlyused, withpage]{acronym}
\usepackage{enumerate}
\usepackage{a4wide}
\usepackage{graphicx}
\usepackage{palatino}
\usepackage{blindtext}
\usepackage{multirow}
\usepackage{listings}
\usepackage{float}
\usepackage{color}
\usepackage{nameref}
\usepackage{comment}
\usepackage{pdfpages}
\usepackage{subfigure}
\usepackage[titles, subfigure]{tocloft}
\usepackage{fancyhdr}
\usepackage[ngerman]{babel}
\usepackage[T1]{fontenc}
\usepackage[utf8]{inputenc}
\usepackage[justification=centering]{caption}
\usepackage[style=chicago-authordate,natbib=true,backend=biber]{biblatex}
\usepackage{csquotes}

\pagestyle{fancy}
\fancyhf{}
\cfoot{\thepage}

%%%% List of Appendices
\newcommand{\listappendicesname}{Anhangsverzeichnis}
\newlistof[section]{appendices}{apc}{\listappendicesname}

\acrodefplural{ConvNet}{Convolutional Neural Networks}
\acrodefplural{SVM}{Support Vector Machines}

\begin{document}

Thanks a lot for any help!

• Okay, I found the solution: I used section*{} for one list ... instead I use \markboth now and the fancy header are working again :) Nevertheless I have to \markboth every section in my document. Don't know why fancyhdr doesnt get them automatically. It also doesnt make the numbers of the sections automatically ... – Kirschbrot Jan 18 at 11:16
• You don't show how you are populating the list of appendices. – egreg Jan 18 at 13:21
• \listofappendices \addcontentsline{toc}{section}{\listappendicesname} – Kirschbrot Jan 18 at 13:36
• That's not what I asked: that adds an entry in the Table of Contents; it remains to know how entries in the list of appendices are inserted. – egreg Jan 18 at 13:41
