I would like to include two types of footnotes inside a longtable-enviornment, however, the declared footnote is created but not shown as you can see in the given example; the rest seems working just fine:

\documentclass[12pt, a4paper]{article}
\usepackage[UTF8]{ctex}

\usepackage[multiple]{footmisc}
\usepackage{bigfoot}
\DeclareNewFootnote{A}[roman]

\usepackage{longtable}

\begin{document}

Outer text\footnote{outerFoot1} more text \footnoteA{outerFoot2}

\begin{longtable}{p{0.4\textwidth}p{0.4\textwidth}}
    Inner text\footnote{innerFoot1} more text \footnoteA{innerFoot2} &\\
\end{longtable}
\end{document}

enter image description here

Besides the bigfoot-package I also tried to use the manyfoot-package, but it did not make much of a difference.

I am also using a couple of Chinese characters using the package ctex and compiling it with XeLatex. Apparently, there are some difficulties as the following thread shows (A problem between using Chinese and bigfoot) but this does not seem to be an issue here.

Since I will probably need quite a few footnotes, I am not looking for a one time workaround.

Any help is higly appreciated!

Florian
