• Welcome to TeX.SE! You can get this using tabulars and \includegraphics only (the latter requires the graphicx package). However, often one wants to add captions and so on, then subcaption might be handy. Can you perhaps explain in more detail what you want? – marmot Feb 12 at 1:32
• Try \documentclass{article} \usepackage{graphicx} \begin{document} \begin{figure}[htb] \centering \begin{tabular}{ccc} \includegraphics[width=0.3\textwidth]{example-image-a} & \includegraphics[width=0.3\textwidth]{example-image-b} & \includegraphics[width=0.3\textwidth]{example-image-c} \\ \begin{tabular}{c|c} left & right\\ \hline boring & dull\\ \end{tabular} & \begin{tabular}{c|c} left & right\\ \hline boring & dull\\ \end{tabular} & \begin{tabular}{c|c} left & right\\ \hline boring & dull\\ \end{tabular} \\ \end{tabular} \end{figure} \end{document} – marmot Feb 12 at 1:38
