I'm trying to install MiKTeX with SCCM in a way that the user will be able to update/install packages.

Basically if I leave the default install path C:\Program Files\MiKTeX 2.9\ but standard user will not have the possibility to update packages without the admin privilege.

I tried to run the installer (with SCCM) with the option:

    - basic-miktex-2.9.6942-x64 --common-install=C:\users\public\Miktex 2.9"

the installation seems to works but at the end I have the following error:

    *initexmf "--common-install=c:\users\public\Miktex 2.9" --set-config-value=[Core]SharedSetup=1 --admin "--log-file=c:\users\public\Miktex 2.9\miktex/config\uninst.log" --disable-installer --verbose:
Option --admin only makes sense for a shared MiKTeX setup.
Sorry, but "MiKTeX Configuration Utility" did not succeed for the following reason:
Option --admin only makes sense for a shared MiKTeX setup.
An error occurred:
  source file:
  source line: 0
message: The executed process did not succeed.*

The installer run through SCCM with the admin privilege and I don't understand how can I fix the error.

Any help?
