I'm trying to write my master thesis, and trying to add two ToC. One simplified in the second page, with the global chapters as well the following pages (abstract, Acknowledgements, lof, lot, etc). And after all that, a 'text' ToC, with just chapters, sections, subsections, etc.

I read some answers and I found that it's easier to make a 'blank' chapter format for the pre-textual elements (abstract, Acknowledgements, epigraph, etc), because this creates the entry for the ToC. But I couldn't remove the numbering from these pre-textual elements. I'd like to have something like \chapter* to achieve Chapter 1, and not Chapter 3 as I got.

Summarizing, for the general ToC, it's requested pre-textual elements without numbers, but just pages, and global chapters.

For the detailed ToC, It's requested only the textual chapters, and it`s respective sections and subsections. So, no pre-textual elements.

\documentclass{report}
\usepackage[utf8]{inputenc}
\usepackage[english]{babel}
\usepackage{shorttoc}
\usepackage[nottoc,notlot,notlof]{tocbibind}

% 'blank' chapter definition
\makeatletter
\newcommand{\unchapter}[1]{%
  %renewcommand{\thechapter}{} %not quite a solution
  \begingroup
  \let\@makechapterhead\@gobble % make \@makechapterhead do nothing
  \chapter{#1}
  \endgroup
}
\makeatother

I'm expecting this result. I'm not sure that shorttoc is the best, suggestions are welcomed
