I have the hyperref package configured to a style I like for the bulk of my document, but there are a couple of places where I want to use the href command to insert a link, but I want it to be styled as normal text. Is there a way to do this?

Questions like this one or this one describe how to turn off the style for the full document, but I just want a single reference to be plain styled.

It would be helpful if you composed a fully compilable minimal working example (MWE) including \documentclass and the appropriate packages that sets up the problem. While solving problems can be fun, setting them up is not. Then, those trying to help can simply cut and paste your MWE and get started on solving the problem. – user36296 Mar 22 at 14:36
