This is my latex settings:

\documentclass[a4paper,12pt]{article}
\usepackage{amsmath,amssymb,amsfonts,amsthm}
\usepackage{graphicx}
\usepackage{hyperref}
\usepackage[authoryear]{natbib}
\usepackage[bf]{caption2}
\usepackage{setspace}

this is my literature libarary settings:

\bibliographystyle{ecta}
\addcontentsline{toc}{section}{References}
\bibliography{literature}

the result is if the literature has a english name, everything compiles smoothly. However, if the paper has a chinese title, the latex shows the following mistakes:

Package inputenc Error: Unicode character 国(U+56FD)

What should I do? I am using bibdesk to save all my referred papers.

    Welcome to TeX.SE. Please provide a full example of a bibliographic entry that contains 国 (and maybe some additional Chinese characters). Do Chinese characters occur only in the bibliography, or can they occur elsewhere in the document as well? Which TeX engine do you employ, and which font-related packages do you employ? – Mico Mar 31 at 19:23
