I would like to know, how it is possible to control vertical spaces before and after of the TOC heading in KOMA-Script I use package minitoc. I tried to find the answer in the documentation scrguien, but without success.

I try to use redefine commands \mtcgapbeforeheads and \mtcgapafterheads, but vertical space is still not 0pt. Which other parameters need to be changed.

Code snipet:

\documentclass[a5paper]{scrbook}
  \usepackage{minitoc}
  \usepackage{lipsum}
  \renewcommand\mtcgapbeforeheads{0pt}
  \renewcommand\mtcgapafterheads{0pt}

\begin{document}
  \doparttoc

  \part{part I}
  \parttoc
  \tableofcontents
   \chapter{Title of the first chapter}
     \lipsum[1]
   \chapter{Title of the second chapter}
     \lipsum[1]
\end{document}

    Well, the current version of KOMA-Script is v3.26b, so your used version 3.15 is a little bit outdated. And I fear not many people have it to be able to test your code. Is there a special reason that you can not update? – Kurt Apr 7 at 9:52

    You can redefine the macros \mtcgapbeforeheads and \mtcgapafterheads to adjust the vertical space before and after the parttoc title. See the minitoc documentation. – esdd Apr 7 at 12:21
  • Update done. Now I use your recommended macros. – JardaFait Apr 8 at 5:56
