When citing multiple sources in a list LaTeX doesn't include a conjunction. Specifically, a citation that looks like this in code \citep[Look at these studies:][]{Alice:2000,Bob:2001,Charlie:2002} will produce text like this (Look at these studies: Alice & Wonderland 2000; Bob et al. 2001; Charlie and Charline 2002).

It seems to me that there should be an "and" before Charlie and Charline in the example text. Is there a way to get LaTeX to generate that (preferably without having to hand-tweak the bbl file)?

I'm using the natbib package and the aastex61.cls style file.
