I am putting together my thesis, and I making my nomenclature page. I am editing the nomenclature .ist file from the nomentbl package (nomentbl.ist). I am editing it using standard longtable commands.

All of the commands work so far, but when I try to add a caption to have (...continued from previous page) in the main heading, TexMaker either crashes or returns a Misaligned! error. Any ideas on how to fix this error?

The issue is isolated to the .ist file. If I remove \printnomenclature from the main script, everything works fine.

This question is eerily similar to this, but when I change my .ist file to the solution provided, my nomenclature page does not print at all!

Thank you so much!

Here is my .ist file :

And this is how I call it in my MWE:

\nomenclature[A]{$c$}{sound velocity}{m/s}{$L/t$} %line 425
