I want to play multiple .mov files in a single beamer frame. I use the \usepackage{multimedia} package for this. The videos do not play simultaneously, it requires a mouse click to run the other video. How can I run all the media files automatically without any mouse click business?.

\begin{columns}[t]
  \begin{column}{0.5\textwidth}
    \begin{figure}
      \centering
      \movie[label=show1,width=2.5cm, height=2.5cm,autostart=true,loop]{}{movie1.mov}
    \end{figure}
  \end{column}
 \begin{column}{0.5\textwidth}
   \begin{figure}
     \centering
     \movie[label=show2,width=2.5cm, height=2.5cm,autostart=true,loop]{}{movie2.mov}
   \end{figure}
 \end{column}
\end{columns}

P.S: The media9 package does not work for me, therefore, I couldn't find any solution to this problem.

  • Why couldn't you use media9? – AlexG Jun 21 at 4:10
