I'm sure this question has been answered somewhere, but I can't find the right key terms to find it by search.

You can convert a counter to \arabic arabic numerals, \alpha alphabetic ordinals, \roman roman numerals, and even \fnsymbol sequenced footnote symbols.

Is there a way to convert a counter to spelled-out English words? Like so:

\English{0} → "Zero"
\English{1} → "One"
\English{15} → "Fifteen"
\English{51209} → "Fifty-one thousand two-hundred-nine", or "Fifty-one thousand two hundred and nine", or something; I'm not picky about grammatical choices.
