I am looking for a way to produce control system diagrams with symbols stating the kind of the unit inside the boxes instead of a function. Something like this (notice the symbol for the integrating unit): https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/63/Typical_State_Space_Model_%28General%29.svg

qcircuits is a package for a different use case (quantum circuits) and also lacking the appropriate symbols like one for P, I, D, PT1 and PT2 elements.

Examples for the symbols (apparently they are not standardized and I did not find exactly what I wanted):

  • Welcome to the TeX.SE. My suggestion is to use qcircuit package: ctan.org/pkg/qcircuit – Sebastiano Aug 17 '19 at 15:18

Where can we see these symbols? – Bernard Aug 17 '19 at 17:39
  • I tried to find a good overview with as many symbols as possible. Unfortunately I did not find a complete overview and also the symbols are slightly different than expected. But I added the link in the question. – clel Aug 17 '19 at 19:29

Please add image too. – AndréC Aug 17 '19 at 19:45
  • I think that will cause copyright problems because I so not have the rights for the images. – clel Aug 18 '19 at 15:08
