I have started helping out on a presentation made with Beamer. The presentation often uses multiple note pages per slide (\note<2>{text}
) since the notes are too long to fit on only one page.
I now want to create a pdf with only the slides to be handed out after the presentation. I want the pdf to only contain 1 occurrence of each slide. When I use \setbeameroption{hide notes}
I get the same slides multiple times where there are multiple notes associated with the slide, which is not what I want. See example code below (pdf will sow two pages with "Slide 1")
\documentclass{beamer}
\setbeameroption{hide notes}
\begin{document}
\begin{frame}
Slide 1
\note<1>{information}
\note<2>{more information}
\end{frame}
\end{document}
Does anyone know a way accomplish only 1 occurrence of each slide? Maybe by some option for beamer or the way the notes are setup.
\note{>xour text>}
instead of\note<1>
and\note<2>

puts all notes in one note page and since they are long I'm not able to see all notes when creating the pdf with notes. I added a clarification regarding this in the original post. – Viktor Nilsson Aug 28 '19 at 11:07
