I am writing master thesis and having problems with the bibliography. My *tex file contains

\usepackage[square, numbers, comma, sort&compress]{natbib} % Use the "Natbib" style for the references in the Bibliography

somewhere at the beginning, and

\bibliographystyle{unsrtnat} % Use the "unsrtnat" BibTeX style for formatting the Bibliography

somewhere at the end.

This produces bibliography with the full author name. I wanted to change it to the initials for the author first (given) names, and tried it with

\bibliographystyle{abbrvnat}

now the names are indeed in initials, but sorting of the references is not by appearance in the created pdf (for example first reference is numerated with 22).

My question: is there a way to have initials for the author first names, while keeping the citation order as in \bibliographystyle{unsrtnat}

note: I do not have *bst or *sty file, and there is nothing about bibliography in my template *cls file.
