I want the author's first names to appear in small caps in the references list, but not in in-text citations, using natbib (I consistently failed to make BibLaTeX work).

Here's my MWE:

\documentclass[12pt,a4paper]{article}
\usepackage[utf8]{inputenc}
\usepackage[square]{natbib}
\usepackage[french]{babel}
\usepackage[T1]{fontenc}
\title{Random title}
\author{Dummy}
\date{}
\begin{filecontents}{randomname.bib}
@Book{wagner_logique_2014,
author = {Wagner, Pierre},
title = {Logique et philosophie},
publisher = {Ellipses},
year = {2014},
address = {Paris},
}
\end{filecontents}
\begin{document}
\section{Nevermind}
I cite a book here: \citet{wagner_logique_2014}.

Here's what I want the bibliographic entry to look like:

\noindent \textsc{Wagner}, Pierre. 2014. \textit{Logique et philosophie}. Paris: Ellipses.

Here is what it looks like with natbib's standard author-year style:

\bibliographystyle{authordate1}
\bibliography{randomname}
\end{document}
