I have several pictures from different sources like jpeg, tif, tikz, pdf. I would like the captions for all these beside of the figure. I'm looking for a possibility to set the length of the caption for all to 0.3\linewidth.

Is there a possibility to do this?

Many thanks for help.

  • Welcome to TeX.SX! Please help us help you and add a minimal working example (MWE) that illustrates your problem. Reproducing the problem and finding out what the issue is will be much easier when we see compilable code, starting with \documentclass{...} and ending with \end{document}. – DG' Jul 15 at 7:30

Sure, a minipage can make wonders, for instance, but without see the code, there are not much more to say. – Fran Jul 15 at 7:31
  • If you are using floatrow, you are pretty much stuck with what it gives your. OTOH, you can make it think the images are larger or smaller then they really are using \raisebox (optional arguments). – John Kormylo Jul 15 at 12:27
