# Referring to environment starting with list

When referring to an environment that starts with a list, the numbering is correct, but when clicking the link created by hyperref, one gets sent to the wrong page. This phenomenon does not happen when the package amsthm is excluded. Any suggestions?

\documentclass{article}
\usepackage{amsthm,thmtools,hyperref}
\declaretheorem[name=Theorem]{thm}

\begin{document}
Some random text.

\newpage

\begin{thm}\label{thm:example}
\begin{itemize}
\item Some element.
\end{itemize}
\end{thm}

As you can see, when mentioning theorem \ref{thm:example}, the numbering is correct, but one gets sent to the wrong page.
\end{document}
