2

I have used the following code to fit a multi column table using landscape package. Now the data inserted is exceeding the length of the page and hence the data is not fitting. (the width is fitting fine)

I tried using the \longtable environment but it just bunches all the columns together. I tried using \tiny option but the same result.

I have seen other posts on many latex pages but haven't found a satisfactory answer that works.

  • I tried this on a single tex file. works great but when i try to compile the code on ovearleaf for my thesis, overleaf.com/latex/templates/iit-kharagpur-phd-thesis-template/… it didn't compile. I tried downloading the source files and doing it and still the same result. – BRMBU Apr 3 at 14:41
  • @BRMBU, what you tried? How you tried? The first example? Both examples as are shown in answer works on Overleaf. Also works the second example with code provided in answer. For whole table you need to edit table first as I was warning you in answer (it has one column more, in table body are removed all $). Try to test just document examples given in answers. – Zarko Apr 3 at 14:48
  • The first example. I get the following error for the second one 'siunitx error: "invalid-number" Invalid numerical input '-'. For immediate help type H <return>. ...7 & 4.6 $\pm$ 0.02 & 4.4 $\pm$ 0.02 & - &' – BRMBU Apr 3 at 15:09
  • I tried the second example in the template overleaf.com/latex/templates/iit-kharagpur-phd-thesis-template/… . it is compiling and giving the pdf but everything that has $\pm$ is overlapped. (PS Not sure how to include the image in the comment) – BRMBU Apr 3 at 15:20
