I am citing a .bib file through the Jabref. When I am citing at the same place, I get a long list of numbers [1,2,3], instead of first and last numbers [1]-[3]. How do I get this?

  • Please note that jabref is likely to be irrelevant here, it us just a manager of the bib data, it is not involved in the latex formatting. You should instead show the latex code you're using, then we can provide an answer based on that – daleif Jun 11 at 14:44
  • JabRef just manages references, you don't really cite with it. Plus, you are showing a screenshot of Word... – campa Jun 11 at 14:45
  • @daleif I am totally confused. I am working in the MS word and how the latex is relevant here? If – Mainland Jun 11 at 14:54

If you're working in word, why are you asking questions on a latex site? – daleif Jun 11 at 15:11

But JabRef questions that are on topic here should have a connection to TeX. This appears to be purely Word related. Did you consider asking in the JabRef support forum discourse.jabref.org – moewe Jun 11 at 15:41
