I got the following type of messages for some packages when I installed texlive 2022 today on my Windows 10:
Retrying to install: metafont.win32[143k]
The system cannot find the path specified.
TLPDF::_install_data: Decompressing
C:\Users\3CC2~1\AppData\Local\Temp\h32l6sx2eg\EgdUdTx2x4/metafont.win32.tar.xz failed for https://ftp.cc.uoc.gr/mirrors/CTAN/systems/texlive/tlnet/archive/metafont.win32.tar.xz
Failed to install metafont.win32, but continuing anyway!
That appeared only for *.win32 packages (such as mfware.wind32, mptopdf.win32, pdftex.win32, latexbin.win32, luahbtex.win32, luaotfload.win32 and more).
At the end of the installation , the TeXLive package manager was (apparently) not installed (I can't find it in the start menu) and I could only press the Abort button to exit the installation wizard.
Why does it happen?
I have not seen the new tex installation in the PATH (echo %PATH%) so I can't tell if the process has ended up correctly or not. And if it haven't, then how do I fix it?
Any help would be VERY much appreciated.
