I have this result
As you can see some glyphs are cut on the right edge.
Where is the error? How can I improve the rendering?
[edit]
The only strange thing I can see is in the terminal:
This is XeTeX, Version 3.1415926-2.4-0.9998 (TeX Live 2012)
restricted \write18 enabled.
entering extended mode

Maybe the "fontconfig warning" has something to do with this error.
/etc/fonts/conf.d/50-user.conf has this content
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<!DOCTYPE fontconfig SYSTEM "fonts.dtd">
<fontconfig>
<!-- Load per-user customization file -->
<include ignore_missing="yes" prefix="xdg">fontconfig/conf.d</include>

I've tried the code on another computer and the result is the same.
/usr/local/texlive/2012/texmf-dist/fonts/type1/arkandis/adforn
. There are not OpenType or TrueType version on my system.
