I don't see how \mqty{1 \\ 1 \\ 2 \\ 0} is easier to type or at least clearer than \begin{bmatrix} 1 \\ 1 \\ 2 \\ 0 \end{bmatrix} I would keep at arm's distance from physics, but you're to judge ...
